Tesha Zaloga grew up on the beautiful east end of Long Island where her family has lived for nearly a century. She began her career in the early '90s as a garden artist specializing in container garden design for private clients in the Hamptons. The historic Hudson River Valley became her home in the autumn of 1997—the Great Estates Region is where she has built her artistic rapport.
She later started combining the roles of gardener and designer, developing long-term relationships with clients and their landscapes, designing a children's kitchen garden for Annie Leibovitz and her daughters at their riverside estate in in 2009. In 2014 she had the honor of welcoming Alice Waters of the Edible Schoolyard Project in Berkeley into this special garden.
Tesha has since begun a second career in contemporary floral design, and worked as chief designer at Kamilla's Floral Boutique in Millerton, NY, creating custom designs for private parties, weddings, galleries & restaurants.
With a signature flare for textural floral design that showcases sculptural armature and naturalistic movement, Tesha is currently taking requests for design commissions in her home studio in Red Hook, NY.
